Which way is up?

Hey all...thought it might be about time to update!   But I really don't know what to say.  My life has been turned upside down and right now I don't seem to know which way is up and which way is down.  I am desperatlely trying to find the right way...but I think it might take awhile.  I have left what I have known for the past 2 years and am working on trusting God for the next phase..which quite honestly looks scary and unknown.  It is so easy to say I am trusting God and at the same time so easy to not trust Him.

My dearest Sonne boys and Staff I miss you all so dearly!  My life the past two years has been blessed beyond what I can even express!  Thank you!  I pray that you are all doing well and enjoying your summer!

The night before I left Germany it was stormy and rainy and then it cleared up a bit and there was this beautiful rainbow.  That rainbow reminded me of God's faithfulness and His promises.  He has promised to never leave any of us..so that is my prayer for each one of us as we are all in transition right now.  That we would know and trust His promises and that no matter what or how hard it is, that we would continue to trust and follow after Him.  He His our one true constant!  Keep a look out for the rainbows!!

I love you all and miss you all!

Weird and Random

Ok so I need to share with you all the extremely random and strange thing that happend to me yesterday morning at 4:30 am.  So I am sound asleep when all of a sudden I get this extreme pain in my thumb...it was a pain I can't even describe..let's just say it hurt uber much!! So I sit up in bed and turn my lamp on..this whole time thinking what in the world is wrong with my finger.  So once I turn on my lamp I am kind of looking at my finger which is at this point red and starting to swell up...I then proceed to look to my left and happen to see a bee just chilling out on my bed....YEP...I got stung by a bee at 4:30 am in my own bedroom in the middle of December!!!!!!!!! What the heck!!!  Not quite the way I wanted to wake up...but anyways....

So yeah...Christmas break is only 2 weeks away!  This semester has just flown by...I can't believe that in just 12 days the semester is over!  I am uber, uber, excited to be able to go home this Christmas and be with my family!!!!

The dorm is all decorated for Christmas and it is getting cooler out (although it is surprisingly warm for December) and I have basically been playing Christmas music nonstop.  This past Saturday I went to Freiburg along with a majority of the school.  They had their Christmas markets up, but it was so stinking croweded that I didn't see much of them, but I did manage to spend probably almost 2 hours at Starbucks!! Gotta love peppermint mochas (yummy)   All in all it was a fun day.

Well, I have finally managed to update...hey..it's ONLY been 2 months

So I lost it..yep...and now I don't want to update anymore..maybe tomorrow! We'll see.

The noise level keeps rising!!!

So the guys are all starting to come back into the dorm...both new and returning and school officially starts up tomorrow!  Another year...unbelievable how fast time goes.  It is great having all you guys back and seeing how you have changed over the summer, and bringing the quietness in the dorm to a complete halt...it is always too quiet you boys aren't here.  I am also so excited about getting to know all the new sonneknights that have arrived.

So, I know it is August but it feels more like November!!! It is freezing..we are trying to find out if we have permission to turn the heat on...which we shouldn't have to be doing since it is still summer..but....I am sitting here with a long sleeve shirt and a hooded sweatshirt!

I am really excited about this year!  We have a really good staff here and great guys in the dorm!  I am looking forward to see how God will use this year in my life and to see how He will grow me!  Exciting and scary all at one time.  But definately praying that  God will really use me this year and that I can learn more about who He is and who He created me to be!

Well the new students are coming back from the orientation and school..gotta go...later

Back in Germany!!

Back again!  It is great to be back..although it is a bit chilly here..feels more like it should be October than August.  I can't wait for all you Sonne boys to come back! I miss you!  The dorm looks great..a lot of work done on it this summer...will be doing more work in it this week.  Having a great time at RA training/orientation...lot's of fun meeting all the new R.A.'s and actually being here this time to join in the fun!  I thought it was about time to put a new picture and update my Xanga...so hope you like it .  So I had an experience I had hoped to never have as I was flying over this time....A man a couple rows in front of me was ill the entire time and as we were landing he was vomiting and retching the whole time.....I thought I was going to be sick myself...it was such a terrible sound and I felt terrible for the guy....   I felt even worse though for the stewardess who was sitting across from him facing him...anyways...gross....

ok..bye bye now...
